JJ Fish & Chicken — Southfield
The Problem

The Southfield location needed its own web presence to appear in local search for its specific neighborhood — a shared or redirected URL from the 8 Mile site would dilute local SEO signals for both locations.

UX Approach

I reused the content system established for 8 Mile (menu structure, CTA hierarchy, voice) but adapted every location-specific element — address, hours, phone, search terms — for the Southfield context.

Design Decisions

Distinct local SEO per location

Each location has its own URL, page title, meta description, and structured data. Search queries for 'JJ Fish Southfield' resolve to a page that directly answers that intent without routing through the 8 Mile site.

Shared content system, adapted copy

Menu categories, card structure, and CTA placement are identical to 8 Mile. Location-specific details (hours, address, neighborhood references) are updated throughout. Users get a consistent experience without confusion.

Same mobile-first ordering pattern

The pinned 'Order now' CTA and mobile-first layout are consistent with the 8 Mile site, reinforcing the brand pattern while keeping implementation efficient.

Outcome

The Southfield site gave the second location its own local search presence. Both locations rank independently for their respective neighborhood queries without cannibalizing each other.
